Potable Water Treatment Compound
AmeriGuard 935 is a special 50 / 50 (ortho / poly) blend of inorganic phosphates designed and tested to be a superior water treatment formulation. AmeriGuard 935 will provide a multitude of effective functions for potable water supplies:
- Provides Both Anodic and Cathodic Corrosion Protection
- Effective Against Both Lead and Copper Corrosion
- Prevents Scale/Calcium Precipitation
- Sequesters Iron and Manganese
- Sequesters Iron and Manganese
AmeriGuard 935 is formulated with no zinc compounds or other heavy metals, and contains ingredients that are Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) as defined in Title 21, Code of Federal Regulations, section 182. AmeriGuard 935 is certified to meet the requirements of ANSI/NSF Standard 60-Drinking Water Chemicals-Health Effects.
Application
Feed continuously in direct proportion to water flow rate. May be fed directly from shipping drum. Product may also be diluted with water to meet metering pump capabilities. Contact your representative for recommended dosage rate for each particular application.
Storage and Handling
Avoid extreme heat and cold when storing product. Keep drum closed when not in use. Avoid any contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Do not ingest concentrated product internally. Read Material Safety Data Sheet carefully before using product. Adhere to all local and state code requirements and follow all operating guidelines from your equipment supplier.
