Corrosion Control Monitoring

Ameriwest Water Services has the testing equipment and experience to test the corrosive tendencies of water in wells, treatment plants, and distribution systems. The purpose of corrosion monitoring is to assess or predict corrosion behavior of the water system and to monitor the effectiveness of any treatment being used.

Chemical analysis can also be used as a monitoring technique, although its application does not monitor corrosion rates. It measures parameters like iron, lead and copper. Upward trends in the metal concentrations may indicate an increase in corrosion.
